::Misago, a kind and sweet old lady from this small shop around the corner offered us free snacks and water after an hour walk across the Kibi plains to get to the temple. As the store was closing, Misago ran after us after we had already left the store and offered us a ride back to Higashi-Soja station, saving us from another hour walk while carrying 15kg backpacks in the blistering heat. The kindness in this person's heart to take the time out of her day in not so favourable conditions to drive my friend and I, complete strangers who don't speak that much Japanese, 15 minutes to the station is something I have never experienced before. Our visit to this shop was cozy, welcoming, and unforgettable. Thank you Misago.

::20230308 I received matcha today. It was delicious with tea and sweets. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー You can have a good rest with matcha and rare red rice sweet sake. There is also a tourist guide so you can get a lot of information. I had red rice amazake. It was unique, rich and delicious.
