::Clean hotel room. Had great relaxing Onsen experience. Wide variety of buffet breakfast at level 12. Highly recommend

::Hotel was packed during the weekend. Seems like a popular choice for locals. Nearest family mart is a walking distance away. Great view of a mountain and river from the hotel window

::The accommodation we're excellent. The view of the river and mountain from the room was spectacular. The staff was very helpful and respectful. If you come to stay longer than one night, bring lots of yen and your credit card. The restaurants are few and the prices astronomical. No Lawson or or 7 11 for over a mile. Still, the hotel was amazing.

::While the hotel itself is very upscale and nice, our actual experience was average at best. The rooms are nice, but the futons are very uncomfortable, and our shower felt more like a riot-suppression device. The spa area is very nice, but the in-house restaurant we went to was not so great. They advertise a great view of the river, but the hotel itself is several blocks away from the river, while we discovered one night a different hotel that actually was right on the river bank that we wished we had found first. (Though the view of the mountains and Gifu Castle is very nice.) They have a complimentary shuttle bus that runs to and from the park and the train/bus station, but you better get your travelling done early, as they stop running before 5:00 PM. All in all, it's a nice place, but you'll probably find somewhere better.
