::Handy location and interesting building but very dated.
Rémi Larcebeau
::Direct from Shimbocho station exit 9. Lots of room and there's a little chapel style inside. Place to see.
Sun Shakur
::I love the Showa era atmosphere of this place. And it seems the people there are also mostly older who are very enthusiastic and intellectual.
Ken Lofhelm
::This hotel is both a university club and a good hotel from the 1920's. It has an air of being full of academics with quiet reading rooms and large leather armchairs. Probably not a place that the younger hipsters would choose to stay. With 4 good restaurants from upmarket Chinese, French and local cuisines to a pub-style cafe with real English lager on tap.
Mustapha Mokrane
::This is a historical building linked to Japan universities. I went here a couple of times for social functions and receptions. The atmosphere is a mixture of early 20th century Western architecture with elements of Japanese culture. There's a hotel and restaurant bar. The food is good.
