    google map に、旧伏見宮邸跡と書かれているあたりが写真の場所あたり。 ホテルオークラの中を通ってこの庭園に出られるんだが、そのことを知らないと入るにはちょっと躊躇してしまう（ｗ 今も残る庭園は旧伏見宮邸跡があったその名残なんだそうである。 この場所には、加藤清正の下屋敷があり、後には井伊家中屋敷があったとある。 伏見宮は、かつてあった日本の宮家の一つで、昭和22年（1947年）昭和天皇の弟である直宮3家を除いたすべての傍系宮家が皇籍を離脱することになり、この宮家もなくなったとのこと。
