::Nestled in the heart of Shijo, Kyoto City, this delightful Hawaiian-style restaurant is a must-visit. Specializing in brunch favorites, their eggs benedicts and pancakes are especially popular, with a standout being their irresistible guava pancake sauce. While it's perfect for those willing to splurge a bit on breakfast or lunch, budget-conscious diners might find other options more suitable. To ensure a seat amidst its popularity, I highly recommend reserving online, as it tends to draw crowds—especially during brunch and lunch hours. During our visit at lunchtime, the restaurant was bustling with eager patrons.

::We turned our brunch into a mini buffet feast by ordering several dishes to share: Banana pancakes, Special Egg omelette, Fruit & French Toast, and Spam & cheese crepe. The portions were definitely US-sized, as noted by other reviewers. Here’s my take on the dishes from a Singaporean palate perspective: • Spam and cheese crepe: I was comparing it to French Fold in Singapore and other places in Japan that use buckwheat for savoury crepes. If you’re looking for that type of flavour, this might not be it. My sister enjoyed it because she likes a stronger flavour in the crepe skin (they use the same crepe skins for sweet cretpes), but I prefer mine thinner and crispier, so I didn’t have much of this. • Special omelette: This comes down to personal taste. My sister liked the tomato-ish base sauce, but I prefer a bit of spice in tomato-based dishes, so it didn’t quite work for me. The omelette was filled with French beans, tomato puree, and bacon chunks. • Banana pancakes: They came with plenty of whipped cream. I thought they were okay. • French toast with fruits: It was a slice of French toast with some cut fruits. It wasn’t as exceptional as I anticipated, perhaps due to the great food photography that set high expectations. However, I must commend their warm service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My elderly mother had trouble with the steps, and they kindly arranged a table for us on the ground level.

::So we were ready to head out from Kyoto to Tokyo and we got a late start and wanted some breakfast so we found eggs and things It’s a popular place we had about a 10 minute wait which was no problem at all because the food made up for it more than enough Replace order for seasonal Sakura French toast, which was amazing. Oh my gosh do not miss that. That was definitely the best part of the meal however, the hamburger was very juicy and delicious. The egg omelette was marvelous. The potatoes are all crunchy and very tasty and the waffle was spectacular. We were several hours and actually didn’t eat until dinner time Forward to five stars for this place for breakfast give it a try

::It's wise to book or you won't get in for breakfast. We went at 9am as it opened and it filled up with people who had bookings. The rest had to queue. Staff were lovely, service quick. Poached eggs were best I've had. Breakfast is now my brunch the portions were so big. My daughters pancakes (chocolate chip) were even too much for her! Hawaiian music. Perfect place for breakfast if you are hungry!

::Enjoyed the American style breakfast. Ordered omelettes and potatoes and pancakes. The omelette is a little greasy but still good. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Potatoes get a little oily next to the omelettes so I wish they had them on a separate dish. Overall was great and fast service. We made a reservation for the first seating and the timing was so much better than arriving later on. Later on there is a wait so make sure to make a reservation online.
