  If you are used to Singapore ding tai fung then. Japan's ding tai fung is going to taste different. It has been heavily modified for Japan market.

  Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people. ... If you don’t make your own mine, just move there because you thought about…. well is this … the Din Tai Fung from Taiwan! Then somehow you had to feel something lost either way. We came here with so much hope that this is gonna be one of the best… But sometimes if you had already getting something warmer. That’s enough. Took it and way home be happy.

  This place can get very busy, with a long line outside of the restaurant. It is located on the 9th floor inside the mall. The food is definitely worth the wait. Their dessert dumplings are good, especially the strawberry/chocolate, but they are seasonal. My favorites are their Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), shrimp spring roll, and their plum wine. The fried rice is pretty plain compared to other places, but sometimes simplicity is just the right amount of flavor, especially when paired with their other offerings. Definitely give this place a try, if you’re in Tachikawa.

  Great dim sum chain in Tachikawa! I went here for dinner on a Tuesday and was surprised to find it to have no wait at all. Our favorites were the soup dumplings - they have a big variety with some Japan specific ingredients. We also really enjoyed the shrimp fritter with spicy Mayo dish. Definitely recommend!

  Very nice! Same quality as the branches in Taiwan. In Japan, there are many localised fillings for dessert dumplings and buns! Nice staff, great environment and good service
