ゆずたそ
::A coffee shop near Takaoka Station. The atmosphere inside the store is very relaxing. I ordered a morning mixed sandwich and iced coffee. The iced coffee was delicious because it was roasted in-house, and it was my favorite flavor. The mixed sandwiches were also voluminous, and the egg sandwich was particularly delicious with its fluffy eggs and mustard mayonnaise. It is also a sacred place for the movie Yuruyuri, which is set in Takaoka, and various goods are on display.
なふ
::On a pilgrimage to a sacred place. I guess there are a lot of local regulars on weekday mornings. I ordered a set of egg sandwich and daily coffee. The fluffy eggs were flavored with mustard and were delicious! The portion is sufficient and you will feel full. The coffee has a pleasant plum-like flavor. I don't have many opportunities to go to Takaoka, but I would like to come again.
サト
::I had iced coffee, apple chiboust, and homemade custard pudding. All the sweets on the menu looked delicious, so I couldn't narrow it down to just one, so I ended up ordering two (lol) Everything was really delicious and very soothing.
たましま
::This coffee shop is located a 5-minute walk from Takaoka Station. I had some time to transfer, so I stopped by. The inside of the store is very spacious and has a calm atmosphere, so you can feel like you can come in at any time. The interior also has a nostalgic feel. The pudding was hard and relatively sweet, typical of a coffee shop. It was delicious. It's taller and has more volume than I expected. It is said to be a sacred place for the manga/anime Yuruyuri, and autographs and merchandise from the author and voice actor were placed in one corner. It seems that the characters were sitting at a round table by the window, and when I went there, there were some people happily promoting the event.
nori n (norin)
::A coffee shop where you can relax and enjoy delicious coffee and cakes. 5 minutes walk from the ticket gate of Takaoka Station. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating, so you probably won't have to wait in line. Home-roasted coffee is a good value for money at 700 yen with cake. The lunch menu was also full of curry, spaghetti, hamburgers, and ginger-grilled pork. It's a coffee shop with lots of magazines and comfortable chairs where you can relax.
