I don't think anyone spoke English here but we did fine with gestures and Google Translate. The location is precious and the food was amazing! You get to pick your own handmade cup to drink with and dishes are served on handmade pottery as well. The restaurant is upstairs and there is a place downstairs to take off your shoes and use slippers. We thought socks would be okay but they brought us slippers to use. 😜 There's a basket at the bottom for used slippers. The menu is limited in choices but each dish comes with several sides and everything is delicious.

I received the tempura soba set for lunch at Mashiko Pottery Market. The food served on Mashiko ware was warm to the eye and to the touch. I thought it was a small shop from the outside, but I was surprised at how spacious it was. When it's crowded, you should be prepared to wait for your food to be served.

Visited the store after experiencing Mashiko ware. A relaxing interior made of wood. Choose from the menu on the table, place your order, and take your seat. Everything looks delicious so I'm confused. Order omelet curry! The sweet egg omelette rice goes well with the tomato curry, which has plenty of toppings. You can also enjoy choosing your favorite glass from the many Mashiko ware drinks at the drink bar. Desserts were also homemade and all were delicious. Unfortunately, the seasonal desserts were sold out. . I would like to try other menu items. Thank you for the meal! !

I made a reservation for 11:30 on a rainy Sunday. It seems to be a popular restaurant, and even though it was raining, it was quite crowded. For the meal, we had a porcini hamburger steak served on Mashiko yaki, toritatsuta, and vegetables with black vinegar sauce, served with five-grain rice. There is more than it looks. You can also choose from Mashiko ware cups at the drink bar. The sweets plate was full with strawberry tiramisu. As it seems to be a popular restaurant, there was a plate with a 120 minute time limit.
