  Pricey, a cup of coffee costs 850yen. We wanted to-go but was told that it’s only start from 11am?? But the view and seatings are superb. Free parking.

  Cool place and view. But t'was an open place. Tiny insects are touching our foods. A bit pricey.

  Great environment, acceptable food. The toasts were great, crispy on the outside, fluffy and rich on the inside. Pasta was good, though the salad was incredibly underwhelming. Expect a wait when you get here, I suggest calling them to check before coming.

  A small but popular café tucked away on the coast at Nishio. Sitting out on the terrace, the view points towards the sea, overlooking small islands in the distance, but since it really is popular, have to arrive pretty early (around 9am) to avoid queues for good seats. The menu is pretty varied, but has quite traditional Japanese café cuisine. It's well presented, tasty, and was surprisingly reasonably-priced. Would recommend it as the start of a day-trip to Sakushima art island, with the ferry port nearby.
