::Amazing little cafe! There was a bit of a wait out in the cold to get a seat but once in it was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful with snow just gently falling outside, watching from in front of a nice warm heater.

::Met the owner when he travelled to Singapore, and he invites me to visit his cafe. While travelling to Kyoto, I decided to include this cafe in my itinerary. Ordered their coffee, (which is their unique brew), nuts tart and a chicken quiche. The nuts are so fragrant and tasty, that we were pondering if we should get another. The coffee has a lovely fragrant, and it does not leave a sour aftertaste. For me, that is a win. Environment, it is a cozy environment, good for tourist who wants to find a quiet spot to rest before continuing their shopping at the Main Street. Highly recommended! However for visitors who are above the height of 175cm, please be careful as the entrance beside the bar has a beam that is low hanging. I’m 181 and I hit my head there. 🤣🤣

::Lovely place. Being a traditional Kyoto wooden townhouse, you can feel the standstill atmosphere by just staying here sipping a mouth of coffee looking around quietly.

::If you like having a peaceful time, listening to the crowd chatting, the sounds of the kitchen and light music in the background. This would be the perfect place. As a person who works and lives in the noisy and buzzing area of the main city, this calms me down. If you don't know what to order, just get the daily special. You're already here, try something different 👌🏻

::Really enjoyed this cafe. Better coffee than most places. Quiches and tarts are different and full flavour. I tried the lemon and chocolate, filled with lemon balanced with dark chocolate and a candied lemon on top. The vanilla ice cream was creamy and tasted home made. Both quiches were full bodied and flavour. The chicken curry was subtle and well balance, the salmon quiche could have had more salmon. The mince and lentil curry (mild) was simply excellent.
