  I am in complete shock. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant many times for a few years, even one of the waitresses knows who we are and has thanked us for coming many times. But after today I will NEVER go there again. My husband asked the waitress serving us today what kind of meat was in the gratin. She said chicken. When it arrived it was ham (I don’t eat ham, which is why we confirmed with the waitress first before ordering). We explained what happened to another waitress, she was very polite and apologized. We ordered a pizza instead. A few minutes later the chef came out. He got in my husband’s face, demanding to know what happened with the gratin and why we sent it back. He said the waitress that took our order did not say it was chicken. Basically, he called us liars (I am 100% sure the waitress said chicken. I think she was scared of the chef so she said told him she didn’t say it was chicken). He was very aggressive and rude. I couldn’t believe he could treat a customer like that. We were stunned by his behavior and decided to leave right away after paying. Honestly, I felt a bit scared because I have never seen someone act like that, especially in Japan. The chef came out with the pizza (I don’t understand why he came instead of the waitress) and he saw we were leaving. He started to follow us and was talking aggressively again! I told him he was very rude and we just wanted to pay and leave. He followed so closely behind my husband and continued to harass us. I think the chef is seriously mentally unwell. I do not recommend this place, especially if you have a problem with your order. There’s a possibility the chef will get angry and harass you. This type of behavior is not acceptable and he should be fired for the safety of the customers. I will be following up this review with an email to the company, although I doubt it will do any good.

  enjoyable nature view from wooden old house. The food is good. I have nothing to complain, except that mosquitos keep swarming on my leg but that’s how nature works

  Staff were polite and nice. The cafe interior was relaxing. It was adorable seeing other customers bringing in their cute dogs. The food was a bit disappointing; flavors were on point but the pizza was undercooked and tart crust was soggy

  This cafe is a part of Garden Square and it’s really a great place for breakfast a brunch. The staff is very friendly, it’s spacious and has a wonderful garden in front of you, no matter whether you sit inside or outside.
