  one of the best jazz clubs in tokyo and most probably in the world, period. wonderful line-up of interesting local and international artists performing in a cozy and intimate setting. great acoustic, great clientele, and great food too.

  A small cosy bar with maybe 20~30 seats, nice atmosphere and extremely tasty dishes and wines. Portions are big, so it's worth the price. The performance we went to was simply great. It's not far from Shibuya and Omotesando, so it's easy to get to and from.

  The Body & Soul is located right around the corner of the more famous Blue Note, but has often the better gigs. They offer a good wine selection and have changing dinner menues as well as the standards. It's a small, old style jazz club with tables an bars seats, but reservation is necessary nevertheless. Music charge is regularly 3,800¥ for two sets. On special occasions however that might change.

  Such a cool place to see some great live jazz music. The music charge on the night I went was ¥3800 but the skill and quality of music was off the charts. I will go back again some time.
