  Great pub. They have a wide selection of different Belgium beers, as well as local craft beers. The owner and his wife are really friendly. Go here if you want a proper beer experience in a place with a western-style pub ambience.

  Friendly service, the owner will meet you halfway with English if you can speak a bit of Japanese. In an area with few craft beer sources, this is an oasis but they command a bit more of a price as a result.

  Good selection of beers but we're out of every stout I would ask for. Overall a friendly and relaxing place. Downside is the beer is pricey (normal for Japan) and no English anywhere (also normal but having the beer types in English would have been nice)

  Have you heard about Beer Bar Barley? First, the GOOD. This place has a warm, woody atmosphere. It has a small bar that seats 6-8 people and two mini seating areas that seat about 10 people each. It has wide selection of craft beers from around the world, particularly Belgium and a good selection of craft beers on tap. Prices a bit high, 1000+ yen for an American pint. The food is fresh, and delicious, but a bit pricey, even for Japan. The BAD, The owner is quite an expert on beer and pairings, but he is a bit of a control freak and quite unfriendly. When I went alone it was OK. He basically ignored me, even though I tried to initiate a conversation in Japanese. Both times I went with a group, we were shushed and asked to split up. He was quite rude to our group and went so far as to call the cops because we were talking loudly. If you like your beer expensive and your service surly, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I recommend Busy Bee on the opposite side of the station.

  Excellent selection of bottled beers from all over Japan and the world. Often served in specialized glasses. Several original beers on tap that change regularly. Disadvantage is the price, can be near 1000yen for certain beers.
