::This is a local chain of Western sweets that operates in Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, and Shimane areas. It is a very powerful store, with many stores opening not only in central Hiroshima but also in department stores and Youme Town. This time, I went to Salon de The, which is located right after entering Hondori Arcade. It's hard to tell at first glance where the store is because the entrance is the same as a bank ATM, but if you walk past the ATM on your left and walk towards the back, you'll see a salon on the mezzanine floor. The inside of the store is deep and wider than I expected. A showcase of cakes and other items was set up next to the cash register on the left. “Cheesecake set/700 yen” It was around 10am, so it was still morning time, but I ordered a cheesecake and coffee set. Apparently, the coffee was brewed one by one, so it took quite a while for it to come out. In the end, both appeared at the same time after about 15 minutes. These days, dense cheesecakes are the mainstream, but this one is soufflé-like. It's a masterpiece from the Showa era with its fluffy, soft, and light flavor. There is fresh cream on the side, but I wonder if it goes well with the cheesecake? I avoided using it and left it as is. The coffee is aromatic and bitter, which means it just took a long time to brew. Coupled with the elegant pottery, it provided an elegant time. Customer service is courteous and good. There are many coffee shops on Hondori that are crowded due to its location, but it was empty the entire time. I guess this is a hidden gem because the location is hard to find.

::I went there for the first time in a while and ordered a cake set, and I also had coffee for the first time in a while, so it was delicious, and the apple cake had just the right amount of sourness.I've been going there for a long time, so I enjoyed it while chatting with my friends 😉

::Buttercream cake is so delicious! It seemed like it would be gone by the evening, so I recommend you to reserve it. By the time I went to the store, it was out of stock by 7pm, so I called the next morning and asked them to reserve it for me. The staff was also nice ^_^ I want to buy it again when I go to Hiroshima! This cake is a must-try for buttercream lovers.

::Hiroshima's local sweets, Bakkenmozart! I definitely wanted to eat this on my trip to Hiroshima... There are various stores, but I went to the Hondori store! The entrance is behind the bank's ATM corner, so it's a little difficult to find, so be careful. When I went there around noon on a holiday, it was almost full, but I was lucky enough to find one seat open! Everyone was having fun chatting, and parents and children were enjoying sweets. I was on a date, Peaceful atmosphere! I can see that it is loved by the locals. (When I went there, there weren't many tourists-like people. Other stores seemed crowded with tourists, so this store was surprisingly calm even though it was in the middle of the city.) Maybe it's the atmosphere!) I ordered chocolate cake, The sponge was firm and had a springy texture! The cream was sweet, and even though I had it for the first time, it had a somewhat nostalgic taste... It is a flavor that is loved by everyone from children to adults.

::Since it was Christmas, there were a lot of people on Hondori, and the shops along Hondori were lined up and crowded, but this store was a hidden gem because it was located at the back of the street where there were many ATMs. Half of the seats were empty. This is the first time I've heard that it's open as a coffee shop even though it's originally a takeout shop. I found it by chance as I was walking along the side road of the main street, so I was lucky.
