Edited as below. --- We had breakfast at a cafe in Oita Airport while waiting for our flight. **Egg-cooked rice set meal** It's been a while since I last had a Japanese breakfast, and the smooth texture of the eggs and the fluffy texture of the rice were intertwined perfectly, and it was so delicious that I couldn't help but be amazed. The set coffee had a mellow aroma and deep flavor that calmed the mind and created a relaxing and luxurious moment. Another attractive feature is that you can use power outlets, so you can spend your waiting time comfortably.

Sky Cafe Azul is a cafe that operates in a corner of the 2nd floor of the Oita Airport terminal building. In addition to coffee, this shop also offers gelato and light snacks, but since I had plenty of time before my evening flight, I stopped by. I bought olive ice cream and spaceport soda and had them at a table inside the store. Olive ice cream is made by soaking olives in salt water, making a paste, and mixing it with vanilla ice cream. The rich sweetness with a hint of salt is delicious. Olive powder is a good accent. Spaceport soda is a soda with Kabosu fruit juice and jelly at the bottom. It has a very cool appearance that reminds you of outer space. It was a good way to kill time before my flight. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived early to the airport to find the 3rd floor restaurants don’t open until 930 and 1000. I found this little cafe while I waited for my plane. Food is cooked when you order it. There was a staff member who spoke my language. I got a breakfast set as well as both kinds of tempura fried chicken. The yellow is tori-ten served with a light sauce, the green is made using kobosu. The green was a lovely salty citrusy flavor. It was delicious!

The Kabosu n' Salt Fried Chicken was disappointing, I was served something something that was below warm, obviously not freshly fried, because the skin was not crispy; and all I could taste was salt, with no hint of kabosu. On the other hand, the Kabosu Juice was really refreshing, sour with the right amount of sweetness to balance things out.
