  The interior of this hotel is beautiful. The large staircase at the entrance is particularly impressive. The hotel is located by the sea and all of the rooms face west, so the view of the sunset is beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast were delicious, and the hot spring bath was very relaxing. During our entire stay, the staff were very attentive, helpful, and professional. I would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

  Overnight stay in western room with own onsen bath overlooking the sea … what’s not to love if your in the price range

  Clean, quiet with a nice view of the ocean. There was a limited number of hotels of this calibre within in area but was happy with my stay. Good amenities, complementary drinks and service. Some areas my room can use some refurbishing, either than that it was a good stay.

  Free rental bikes Dinner was okay, but the breakfast quality and variety buffet is top notch. They even have a all you can drink bar with snacks in a free lounge area. Beach area is a bit rocky on the feet but the pebbles are pretty.

  We were a family of eight. My husband and I flew from Canada to meet my parents and sister's family in Japan. Awaji Hamarikyu was our last stop in Japan, they made our stay memorable. It was beautiful everywhere. The onsen was nice and clean, the staff were attentive and friendly. On our second day, they even modified our menu for us. Thank you, the Awaji Hamarikyu Team. You have exceeded our expectations of what great hospitality means. Thank you for making my parents' 50th anniversary a lifetime milestone. We will be back. Thank you!
