::Definitely this was my most favourite hotel in Kanazawa. There are so many 4 star hotels in google map which should be 3 or even 2 star, but this hotel is not fake. When I arrived, a man came and helped me to carry my luggage. He didn't roll but lifted my small suitcase to the reception. The checking in was very smooth, even I arrived before the checking in time, they kindly let me use the room earlier too. I really loved the aroma service that you could ask for free of charge and you could enjoy the aroma from 3 choices. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The amenities are unique and well selected, and haven't seen at other hotels. They are higher quality and considered for the good quality of the stay. One sad thing was there wasn't any note or warning but there were droppings from the roof according to the ac use. I didn't know and I got a drop on my head, and things I left under the spot got wet. But because everything else was perfect so that I really have nothing to complain. I'd like to stay here again and any other same hotels at different locations. I also have stayed at the other IHG hotel in Kanazawa, and I could tell you this one is more expensive but higher service and better room and everything. Also if you are a member of IHG, you could get the late check out for additional 3 hours for free even booked from none official sites, so you should take a look at it as well.

::First, its location. It’s right smack next to Kanazawa station and bus terminals. I took the thunderbird limited express from Osaka to Kanazawa. I didn’t bring any luggage. But rest assured the hotel is easy to get to from the station. So whether you’re traveling solo like me, or traveling with luggage, you’ll get to the hotel very easily. I’mNext, the concierge staff who was very helpful! I didn’t get his name, but I think he looks South Asian. (Please forgive me if I have mistaken his ethnicity, sorry!) He walked me to my room after check in and shared useful information about what’s around. Very nice welcome from him. The next morning, a Japanese lady at Concierge was also helpful and assisted me with directions to Kanazawa Castle, Higashichaya district and the Kenrokuen gardens. There is a city loop bus for tourist attractions and having the hotel located right next to the train station and bus terminal made everything so easy. I was staying under IHG’s Rewards Nights program, and my room was upgraded due to my Platinum Elite status, thank you for recognising your members. The room was spacious. It had twin beds, a coffee table, and a sofa, with ample walking space. But like others have said, rooms could use some refurbishments. Adapters were provided in the room so you don’t need to worry about buying one. As always, Crowne Plaza provides you with their Sleep Advantage program. So there are both soft and hard pillows, as well as steam eye masks and bath salts to help you relax and settle in for a great slumber.

::This hotel is perfectly located within a 3 min walk from the Kanazawa train station. While the walk is outside, the entire path is covered so even if it’s raining, you can avoid getting drenched. The hotel is showing its age and the rooms and halls are a little dirty. The carpet really needs to be replaced. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet serves a great variety of tasty food. Laundry service also good. Gym is not located in the hotel but they have an affiliation with a gym in the building next to the hotel.

::Great location right next to the train station. Nice and quiet despite the location. Plenty of options for food and shopping nearby. Rooms are small but comfortable. This hotel seems to get some large tourist groups which made the breakfast buffet busy at times.

::I used to work here while I studied Japanese 24 years ago. I've not been back in all that time and to be honest very little has changed. The main lobby looks a bit dated. I waitressed in the ground floor restaurant and it's been refreshed a bit and the staff have much nicer uniforms that what I had to wear (!) but otherwise it's as was. Our room was a decent size for Japan and the bed was big and comfy. There's a lot of mould in the bathroom though which was quite unpleasant. Also the ventilation isn't great so the window was drenched in condensation. Great location right beside Kanazawa station which is filled with cool little shops and eateries you should definitely check out.
