::I used it while touring. It's old but clean, and the bathroom has been renovated so it's clean. The keys don't lock automatically, and the computer desk, smoking area, and coin-operated laundry room are all in one storage room, which might be unpleasant for sensitive people, but I didn't have any problems because I wanted something cheap. The taste of the buffet breakfast was average, but there was rice and bread, so I was satisfied because I like to eat a lot. I was able to use a Rurubu coupon, and even though it was a weekday, it was just 4,500 yen per night, which was great value for money. It's easy to get lost due to the location, but there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants near the station, so I'd stay here again if I had the chance.

::Stayed here during an emergency trip to kobe. I booked last minute so I have no big complaints about the room or the service. Some people say the facilities are dated but to me it looked kinda retro and cool. The free breakfast was a very nice touch. A quick walk will get you to Nishi-Akashi Station where there is a small supermarket and a 7-11.

::not many hotels in nishi-akashi. this one is reasonable and very near the shinkansen exit. facilities are old so don't expect too much.
