  色々な植物や虫、鳥などが見られます。都会の子供はなかなか自然と触れ合う機会がないのでこういうところに連れて行くのは良い経験となるでしょう。広いのでけっこう楽しめました。

  都内にあって子供たちに田舎気分を味わえる公園であります。 添付した写真には田舎の家屋らしいものがあり、都会とは思えません。赤羽駅からバスで少しの位置にあり、近くには西が丘トレーニングセンターやら、国立スポーツ科学センターもあります。 そちらには全日本級の選手が赤羽駅から向かいますが、その手前に位置しています。 そこに子供たちが田舎気分が味わえて、この日は焼きいも体験をさせてくるます。 農作物も植えたり、干し芋を作ったり色々な体験ができ別名が「体験館」とも呼ばれています。 近くのかたは是非1度は参加するべきですね。

  This park was made around the turn of the century. The goal was to make a park that showed off what the area looked like before it was developed. Because of that, it is still a work in progress, but since it has a spring, there is a nice little stream that runs down into a pond (which is fenced off because it is very deep and could be a hazard to children). Children can catch crayfish, tadpoles, little fish, and the like in the stream without any fear of serious injury. I nice place to spend a lazy afternoon on a nice day.

  Big and roomy. More flowers, grass and grren vegetation will enhance the amenity.
