  This AEON shopping mall is located next to higashikanagawa station. The center has a lot of clothes, shoes, fruits, cosmetics, all kinds of items.

  In a country like Japan, which ranks among developed nations and is often referred to as the kingdom of food additives, it's truly challenging to find simple products without unnecessary and potentially harmful additives. I'm genuinely thankful that a store like AEON is taking steps, albeit slowly, to offer products with fewer additives. Many people in Japan might not be fully aware or simply not concerned about this situation, and it's evident that Japanese food companies and the Japanese Health, Labour and Welfare authorities aren't taking substantial measures to safeguard our children's well-being. Interestingly, while the global trend is moving towards reducing additive usage and promoting safe food practices, Japan seems to be moving in the opposite direction, with its food containing 5 to 10 times more additives than in other developed nations. It's worth noting that AEON's Top Value series includes many additives-free products, often labeled on the front of the package or indicated in the ingredients list. Amidst this, I can see a sincere effort from AEON, and I'm sincerely appreciative of that.

  Everything you want in one place! Lots of varieties of products as well since they do not limit their selection to Top Value line of products. I visit almost daily!

  An older Aeon that is mostly department store in layout. Easy access, close to the train station.
