  I visited 24.06.28 on Friday Most jazz bars in Kitakyushu are Jazz artists perform. Other jazz bars seemed to have great sessions, but I was drawn to 88 Nelson, which is relatively far from the city center. I experienced Japanese jazz culture here. 1) Even though I am a foreigner who cannot speak Japanese, they did their best to provide service. (Conversation using Papago, which I have) 2) The master’s passion for jazz was great. The performance on the 28th was performed by OB Three for one hour. Most guests at a jazz bar are taught by a master?! (Not exact) I thought he was a disciple. 1 hour performance + 1 hour of jazz ensemble by students I was immersed in Nippon jazz for 2 hours. Even though I know how to play the bass at a basic level, We were invited to the stage and performed together. In particular, if you like jazz or musical instruments, if you are lucky, you will be able to have a great experience of becoming one with music with strangers in a foreign country.

  I came here on the recommendation of someone at work. The location is a little difficult to find as it is on the second floor of an apartment in front of a busy supermarket. The inside of the store is small and you can hear the sounds of the instruments up close, creating an atmosphere perfect for live performances. The charge is 1,500 yen, but it doesn't feel expensive because the master and members who participate in the performance are sure of their skills and are in good spirits.

  It's a very comfortable jazz spot with a homely atmosphere. Even amateur musicians are skilled! I will go again!
