  I don't think the price is good with regards to the services. They are plenty of nice hotels or hostels around.

  This was great! It was a bit difficult for a foreigner to learn the practices at first. But after a night or two and following others' example the whole dining, sleeping, washibg, grooming, bathing and everything opened up and it was so worth the money. The sauna and bathing area were a positive surprise, with sauna degrees at a comfortable 110. Being Finnish, I can respect that. The lack of English signs or translations made getting into the system slow. The staff was very respectful and helpful, though.

  Very interesting experience, relatively inexpensive and very nostalgic. Though, not as comfortable as other accommodation options.

  It's a capsule hotel, you're not going to get a private room or anything fancy. That said, what is provided is pretty good for the price. The bath is small, but functional, with an outdoor bath, sauna and massage area. The bed was not the most comfortable, and the locker space could have been bigger.

  Very good price for a short stay, spring for the Superior capsule with an actual spring mattress. It's only about 500 yen more. The public bath is very nice, they even have two standing shower stalls if you don't want to sit down. A word of warning: be careful looking for the hotel. It isn't clearly marked in English, and a hustler tried to con me into overpaying at his own hotel by telling me he would show me where this hotel was (and instead directing me to his) . I'm sure they pull this scam all the time.
