::This is my dermatologist experience. As a foreigner living here, I was nervous if I could figure out the process. All the staff were friendly and spoke just enough English to help me. Their forms I had to fill out were also in English. They provided a translator when the doctor saw me as well. I’m happy with my experience

::Definitely disappointed! I called to inquire about physical examination for my kids, right when the reception answered and I said hello, she told me to wait and hung up the phone call on me. 😞 I called again only to be put on hold for awhile. Please be mindful that it gets frustrating when you hang up a phone call because it is a foreigner calling.

::You can make appointments on the phone, even if you can't speak Japanese. All the staff, nurses, and doctors are really helpful and friendly. They can fit you in for an appointment pretty quickly (even same day!) and you won't have to wait too long to be seen. Waiting to pay at the cashier after your appointment can take some time, especially if it's busy at the hospital. Just read a book or people watch while you wait!

::I've always had superior medical care for my family and I here. Adventist Medical Center has friendly doctors and nurses that tend to you in the best manner they can and provide referrals if problems need to be addressed elsewhere (e.g. an MRI due to the lack of equipment). The staff are Japanese and some English speaking with interpreters available if needed as well.

::I am former US military, and I can say I was treated fairly and kindly. This place handles a lot of patients so if they’re brief it’s because that’s just how they operate. They couldn’t help me with my condition but they were kind enough to write out a letter for me to take to the next doctor that they recommended. Over all I’m very pleased
